Terminology:
Plain means butted, normal rings as seen in the picture on the side. .
Butted Mail Riveted Mail
Riveted means rings closed and sealed with
rivets making the chainmail heavier and more impressive.
Half implies chainmail with half sleeves.
Full implies chainmail with full sleeves.
Mild steel is NOT stainless steel, so please do not expose your chainmail to rainfall or water.
However, to protect the chainmail from rusting, wear and tear the mild steel is zinc coated
and the wire for making the rings are also zinc coated or galvanized wires.
The sizes mentioned in MM [8 mm, 9mm, 10mm] are the ring diameters.
The smaller the ring diameter, the heavier the chainmail gets as the number of rings increase.
About the chainmail measurements:
We supply a standard size of:
- length : 32 inches/ 82 cms
- circumference : 50 inches/ 127 cms
- half sleeves length : 11 inches / 28 cms.
- full sleeves length : 19inches / 48 cms.
However,
the chainmail can be tailor made to fit your specific body size if you can
provide:
- your full
height
- your
chest size (circumference)
- shoulder
to wrist length for full arms.
Based on
your measurements we will send you a specific quotation within 24 to 48 hours.
Obviously,
tinier people will find the rates lower and bigger people will find the rates
higher. But either way the variation is
not very high. .

There are two sizes:
- one up to ankle length,36 inches length ( 92 cms )
- one up to knee,20 inches in length. ( 51 cms )
The ankle size is 20 inches ( 51 cms ) in circumference and thigh size is 28 inches ( 71 cms ) circumference.
Socks means for legs in chainmail, obviously only for 36 model..
